When you are offering to help
and there is no response.
Should you pursue or abandon,
a good relationship?

It's not what I want to do.
It's an obligation, to help.
There is nothing, Nada, included.
A life's commitment will be that,

simply that, nothing more.
I want to aide someone in
these, my last days, of life.
Why is that so difficult?

In early evening,
I fear the light,
when nighttime falls
and stars are bright.

What fear is there,
which lives in man,
when we must begin,
over and over, again?

A fear of the unknown,
or what lies ahead,
are often manifestations,
within our head.

To was philosophically,
in this place we dwell,
is most usually something,
on the Perdition Road to Hell.

Step up to the plate,
sharing your concerns,
but always remember,
it's how the world turns.

Life moves on,
away from here,
to another place.
Some place dear.

When the Worldly
places, where we live,
are no longer here,
then move to land above.

Topics change
as life advances,
to a different place,
with fewer chances.

Adapt you should,
for its best for you,
to understand what,
in life, you will do.

Sometimes we forget,
we were to drain the swamp,
when you are up to your neck,
in alligators.
Re-focus on your goals.

The thoughts and memories,
which lay with in this aged mind,
have deteriorated to the point,
my mind, is a wasteland, too unkind,

when memories, once in your mind,
disappear for any reason,
it becomes a trying experience,
perhaps, the mind should have a season.

Unfortunately, that isn't the way it works.
A Spring for rediscovery new ideas and
recurring beauty would be great.
Unfortunately, my mind is a desert of sand.

Is there any time left,
to start life again?
I know it will be different,
but I need a new friend.

Someone to talk with,
when trouble enters my mind.
Someone to console with,
when life turns unkind.

Not looking for marriage,
but someone to love,
to help me understand,
what lies above.

What's the purpose, in life?
What purpose, indeed.
When do you draw the line,
or just give up. You know, Cede.

Tranquil the night,
Busy the day.
Why do life's problems,
not go away?

Away from this time
when are bodies break,
our moral compass, bent,
and our souls are weak.

There is nothing, in this world,
about being bad or being good,
unless it's taken for granted,
simply misunderstood.
