Rain

I tire of this rain.
I really do,
as the ground
beneath my feet
has turned into goo.
The green of the lawn,
the greenest of all
is mostly moss,
not grasses, tall.
I'd better add something
to sweeten the soil,
that will be easy
and not be a toil.
