If I Say

If I say,
I love you,
would you run away,
or would you do,

what I asked for
and please stay?
I need someone
for me to say,

please talk to me now,
before I go away.
My biggest fear is,
though I would like to stay,

is being alone,
on that day,
when God calls to me,
and takes me away.
