If a Kitten

If a kitten meows,
when in the Mews,
does the owl hoot
and still say who?
If a horse, says neigh,
while the cow says moo
and the pig says oink,
unlike me and you.
If a ewe bleats, baa,
as most of them do,
why does a chicken cluck
when a rooster crows,
why does a crow, caw?
No one knows.
When a duck quacks loudly,
is it because its nose,
is part of its beak?
When a goat starts to bleat,
startling the goose, who honks,
I'm not sure what to say,
when the doves start to coo.
